Integrated Perinatal Profile

The Integrated Perinatal Unit was established in 1991. The main initiator was Mrs. Hj Tien Soeharto, which was then implemented in detail by Prof. Dradji, SpOG and Dr. Titut Pusponegoro, SpA. Starting from the main idea, that babies are the shoots of the nation that determine the quality and degree of the nation's future. Healthy and quality babies will only be born from healthy mothers. However, mothers with health problems, both problems during pregnancy and during childbirth, will pose a high risk to their babies. Therefore, there needs to be a quality neonatal care unit with international standards so that babies can be saved with a good quality of life. This unit has been standing for almost 3 decades and to keep it going well for so long is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand

The Neonatal Unit consists of:

  • NICU 20 beds and complete with facilities
  • “High Care Unit” 30 bed
The birth rate is around 1800 babies per year, 70% of which are high-risk pregnancies or deliveries.
