The Nutrition Installation in collaboration with the Marketing and Business Development Installation of RSAB Harapan Kita held a Nutrition Education Counseling event for outpatients. This event was held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Alamanda outpatient polyclinic of RSAB Harapan Kita.

This event is a series of activities for the 64th National Nutrition Day which falls every January 25. The theme of the presentation is "MP-ASI Rich in Animal Protein Prevents Stunting"

The event was opened with remarks by the Acting Medical and Nursing Director of RSAB Harapan Kita, dr. Endah Citraresmi, SpA(K), MARS. In her remarks, she reminded the children of the dangers of stunting.

“When a child is sick, weight loss is normal. But after being sick, it should increase again. But if we do not intervene, the nutritional disorders will last for a long time and eventually the child will become stunted. Later the child will be short, what will be the consequences? It is usually related to the child's intelligence. You want your child to be smart, right? If you want your child to be smart, it means they must have good nutrition. How do you get good nutrition? One way is with MP-ASI which is rich in protein". said Dr. Endah in her speech.

After the speech by Dr. Endah, the event continued with the presentation of counseling materials presented by Dinda Yulian Ardiani, S.Gz. In this session, an interactive question and answer session was also opened between the audience and the resource person.

For the audience who have not had the opportunity to ask questions. RSAB Harapan Kita Nutrition Installation opens a stand for nutritional consultations for children. This consultation can be done free of charge.
