RSAB Harapan Kita once again held a festive event to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. The event, titled “RSAB Harapan Kita Patient Independence Competition,” successfully created a cheerful and enthusiastic atmosphere for the little patients.

President Director of RSAB Harapan Kita, dr. Ockti Palupi Rahayuningtyas, MPH, MH.Kes also attended the event. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of happiness for children, especially those who are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

"The hope is of course that these children have the right to be happy, wherever they are they have the right to be happy. Even if they have to go to the hospital for check-ups, even if they have to go back and forth to the hospital. But we must be able to facilitate them to be happy and feel comfortable. Even though they are in the hospital. So we want to share with all parents to our children. Hopefully even though they are in the hospital they do not feel like they are in the hospital. They feel comfortable that RSAB Harapan Kita is a second home for our children," said Dr. Ockti.

The event opened with a lively parade attended by patients and the board of directors of RSAB Harapan Kita. The atmosphere was even more lively with various unique and colorful costumes worn by the parade participants.

After the parade, the event continued with a series of exciting and interesting competitions, such as a fashion show, coloring competition, flag moving competition, and glass blowing competition. All participants seemed enthusiastic and eager to show their best abilities.

The event was closed with the awarding of prizes to the winners of the competition. The winners looked very happy and proud of their achievements. In addition to the prizes, the participants also received interesting gifts from the organizing committee.
